Classic Yacht Trinakria
The Trinakria, originally launched as Perun in 1927 in Austria, was a training vessel for the Bulgarian fisheries school. In 1931, it was sold to German owners, converted into a luxurious yacht, and became the largest private yacht in Germany. In 1938, it was sold to a French owner and sailed on a scientific cruise, but WWII interrupted its journey.
After the war, it changed ownership several times, including a stint as a charter yacht named Zamoura. In the 2000s, it underwent an extensive 8-year refit in Morocco. In 2014, it was fully restored and returned to the seas. Trinakria now sails at classic yacht events in the Mediterranean.
